Reviews for "Running Warrior"

Cotrols are slow and unresponsive. I could often hit a button severaltimes before he'd act. The range of the sword is shorter than the blade. Many timeshe'll fal through the plaforms. Having him jump the same amount regardless of ho long o hold th button is frustrating.

Game has a decent concept and i like the upgrade idea, but just too uch holding it back.

Hey, the same guy that made that Monster TD. This should be pretty goo...the hell? My attack range is horrible, meaning you need near-exact timing to kill anything. Of course, that could be just because I'm using the Priest. Let's go back to the class I had that could actually kill sli...what? I can't switch classes? That's just stupid. Well, what about items? Surely they make some semblance of sen...seriously? I can't just click to use them, I have to wait for them to activate? Does it at least define when they activate? Nope, not even. Seriously, this is really messy. I know you can do much better.

My main qualm is the attacks are never accurate. I have tried several different distances to attack, and I have yet to successfully avoid taking damage. Everything else isn't too bad. The lack of save points is minor if you would at least allow us to continue without dying because your collision is off.

It was a good concept. But I think the "Girlfriend/Princess has been captured" cliche is a dead horse everyone should stop beating.
There is no replay value: To travel all that distance just to die and have to start over again is annoying.
The controls aren't quick enough. I press up, a fraction of a second goes by before I jump. I press forward, a fraction of a second goes by before I attack. If you're calling that part of the challenge, that's wrong. Don't make a player adjust to your game, adjust the game to it's audience. When a player has thousands of games to choose from, any snags in your game will cause a player to skip it and move on to the next one or return to a classic.

I really want to like it, it has a simple concept and goal. But being stuck with a class after dying coupled with the gracious range to change classes at statues and not being able to switch classes after death made it a bit annoying. Also, no checkpoints, the archer's primary attack using coins, and the hit-or-miss nature of certain jumps made it difficult to traverse and level up. Finally, why are there certain areas where you cant avoid taking damage because the enemies are apparently too powerful? For example in the first level there's this spot with a slime and a bat on two different heights and coins next to slime. If i try to avoid either I end up in the pit. If I take a hit as archer /knight there's a chance I won't make it to a merchant or a chest with a stamina restoring item. Again, I really want to like this game and complete it, but the many deaths and attempts caused me to give up I-don't-know-how-far into the second level.
