Reviews for "Last Dance (Part 1)"

A classic scary text-based adventure. Quite easy and simple.

Shroom-Cushion responds:

Thanks. I've always seen this kind of multi-choice games as easy, but amusing to read and go trough, no matter that all you do is just choose which way the story goes.

Cheers!

Story seems pretty interesting can't wait to see the rest. The art, although suitable for the storyline could be a bit more polished

Shroom-Cushion responds:

The storyline is quite unfinished and a bit... broken down into weird pieces, hopefully I'll be able to tie all the stuff together better on my second attempt.

Thanks!

It really is fun and I love the drawings even if they're not perfect.. it's obviously random some times, but that even makes it better =) Yeah.. It's worth a try and I spend like.. Just a few minutes ~ fast reader

Shroom-Cushion responds:

Thanks! Randomness is something people will have deal with at some points.

Pretty nice for a first attempt at a game. Got me amused for quite a while, just trying to explore all the possibilities (needless to say, I found the easter egg) :D
Kinda liked the story.
+1 for Maslow's pyramid.

Shroom-Cushion responds:

Thanks, this is way more than I could have ever expected for my first attempt to reach. I mean, daily 4th is a really great motivator for a new person up in here.

+1 for knowing the name!

I give it a 4 not because anything is necessarily wrong, because I loved it. Even though it was very simple and short it was enthralling. Please, make a longer one!! and possibly next time dont make most of the choices as obvious, i would have liked to sit and decide which choice would be the best. And maybe each choice leads to a different path, not one choice killing you and the other not killing you. TYSM

Shroom-Cushion responds:

Thanks!

I'm already half done (one of the two arcs done) with the sequel. One arc so far is already bigger than this game and I still have the second one to make, which should be as big as the first choice arc. So yeah, it will be longer. I don't think the sequel will have a perfect system like that, where every choice has a meaning and effect on further development. I think it's slightly improved, but not that much. Though, I do want to make a project, unrelated to Last Dance, in which every single choice would have meaning and change the course of events significally, but I'll worry about that one in the future.

Cheers!
