Reviews for "_-={The Tanks Thunder}=-_"

Resurrection is always good...

Nice to hear from you again :D

This song is great. I love the percussions in this piece. I only wish that you put a slight touch of snare drums in there somewhere, like military drums but just a little bit. You also need to put some reverb and a longer release time on your bells man, that's my only problem with the song.

I love the strings and the flute. Was anything else playing along side the flute cause it sounded "electric"...

I myself am working on an orchestral piece, my first one hehe... will release in a short while. Ahem, anyways, i didn't come here to advertise/whore myself...

Good track Maestro, good luck with the contest. 5/5 for good measures.

MaestroRage responds:

Hey General_Leo.

I appreciate your support for the piece, it seems snares were a desire for this piece, but truth be told, I just couldn't really bring myself to put them in there, as I said earlier, i'll put them in myself, and if the difference is so monumental that it completely alters the core of the song (which I highly doubt it will), then i'll upload again different version.

As for flute. That is a panflute, reverbed up the ying yang. The bells were infact reverbed a huge deal, but it seems that the decay was simply not loud enough for it to make an impact. Should I have tried to make it louder and longer, it would have created a large ringing noise whenever it came around, and destroyed the entire structure of the song itself.

I look forward to your orchestral piece, please drop me a pm when it's up, i'll be sure to give you my thoughts.

Thanks for everything General_Leo ^^.

Wow!

This is the exact opposite of my review of _-=(Simpler Times)=-_ which was that it lacked energy. This is perfect, AWSOME BALANCE! its has a perfect mix of feel, attiutde, organization, and originality. (the usual MaestroRage)

MaestroRage responds:

There are quite a few pieces on here that have significantly more power then even this. However despite all that, this is still one of my personal favorite pieces. I don't usually make pieces like _-={Simpler Times}=-_, but if I don't make pieces like that at all, I would be incapable of making them period D:, and then I would be useless to a lot of people :(

:(

But thats just my little rant, thank you kindly for the review, i'm glad you liked it :D!

hmmm

when i listen i get the feeling that one side is losing the battle horrible, men falling left and right, and then a lone warrior appears, and the battle almost instantly turns and the loser's fight harder and faster. soemthing like that.

wow...

"And there, from the cockpit of my scout plane I saw them all grouped together in a single massed formation. Thousands upon Thousands of tanks, all moving together like a colony of ants. This is what we were up against, we did not stand a chance. So, I did what I could, I pitched over and set my aircraft in a dive and let loose with my four .50" Browning's and my single 20mm Hispano's, strafing the mass of armored vehicles. I set several ablaze, and many more in ruins. I did this until I was out of ammo, and low on fuel. Both my official mission and self-imposed mission complete, I headed back to the airbase and told them what I had done. The next day, I was back in the air, in a P-47 Thunderbolt instead of my preferred and beloved P-38 Lightning, and set on taking out the rest of that armor, and that is what we did, even strafing the ammo and gas trucks as well. We had some help as well, several hundred of our tanks followed us and really helped land a devestating punch during the confusion we had caused.Through it all you could hear the Aircraft roar and the tanks thunder.

I like fighting sounds.

Nice , you are now and my permanently favorite music author !
