Reviews for "TOME Episode 02"

Another great flash

I loved the original TTA series, which showed a lot of creativity and depth, and I really hope that this series does the same.

My questions are, how many episodes are you planning for this series and are you going to place the HP bars in the battle scenes in later episodes?

I can't help it

I just can't help laughing my ass off every time Nylocke opens his mouth

Great

Amazing all round, the eye had that creepy/scary effect that I think you were going for. Keep this up and you will amaze many people.

Thank you !

For keeping up with this AWESOME series ! Nothing is better than starting off the new year with some damn good flash series ! Keep up at it man, i can't wait for the next episode !

Continue? YES!!!!

Doubts? Dispelled. Interest? Peaked. Anticipation? BOILING!

THIS is a series I can get behind! THIS is creative, fun, and interesting! THIS is JUST PLAIN AWESOME!

So, running down the list, shall we?

Action? Well paced battles that are actually enjoyable, as well as interludes that are visually appealing and fun. So Action's good.

Sound? As *%^$ing incredible as Episode 1, if not more so. The music is flowing and fun, but meshes perfectly with the sound effects. Again, Sound had me locked in TOME from start to finish.

Art? This is genuinely stepping up from the scale of the last episode, and I thought it was fine there. Varied "sprites" for the characters, more diverse art, and less battle on the Grid (which, while still awesome, does detract a bit from the sense of scale) made me better appreciate this. I can BELIEVE Asterob in this when he says he spent forever on the mansion.

Dialogue? Humorous on a Humongous scale. The jokes never got vulgar and base, actually had me invested in the story and characters, and never seemed out of place. This is GREAT dialogue, and I always love just watching this world start to evolve.

Characters? Nylocke will always be my favorite character, but that's as much his writing as it being LittleKuriboh's fantastic delivery. But moreover, this episode allowed both the good Kirbopher and Gamecrazed to stretch their talents, appealing as characters far more than before. Any doubts that they would be pushed to the side are hopefully forever dispelled with how awesome these three are as protagonists. Heck, there was not a single character in this, from the villains to the supporting cast, I didn't genuinely enjoy in their own way.

And in it's own way, the way canon references to the old series are being mixed in, (as I can tell is being noticed by other people in their reviews) while simultaneously diluting it in this so that it can be experienced and ENJOYED like I am, is a testamet to how much effort is being put into this for both old and new fans of TTA and TOME alike.

Heck, I'm starting to gush. THAT is what this series does to me with every episode. It IS that damn good. It is WORTH the wait, and I will wait as long as it takes for Episode 3. Well done, well done, WELL DONE! 10 out of 10, and it EARNS every single star! Keep up the spectacular work, we'll be waiting on the edge of our seat the entire time!
