Reviews for "Siegius"

Epic

Usually I'd give a long review but, this was just epic. That's all I can say.

Well..

I'd like to give it a better score, but I had that bug where I couldn't hit Vercing in the first battle where it shows you you can get your champion outside the keep. Even with 4k+ gold farmed before spawning Ceasar for the first time I just managed to bring his keep hp to 1/4 but then I was broke and couldn't do shit but repair my keep from all the following attacks.. I like hard game but when it's not even 100% out of the tutorial levels and it's hard as fuck to complete a level that should be simple it kind of turn me off sorry.

Meus likesus!

I usually frown upon the games with pseudo-latin titles set in a pseudo-ancient pseudo-fantasy entourage, but not this time I don't. The mood of 'Siegius' keeps me from serious criticism and the gameplay makes me want to finish this review ASAP and get back to playing. It's a challenging strategy and a fun one, too. Good job.

P.S. tatadas, every time you see the Big Boar, just send two level 2 packs of archers at it and use Vercing to tank. When the Boar is defeated, you win. It's not that hard.

Great

Would give a ten but at the gaul campaign level 4 i cant find a way to win. Could anyone who has won it give me a tip? ;)

Good, but it's got problems

Finally, a war game that doesn't lag my terrible computer. Please keep this in future gaming.
On the plus side, commendable gameplay, upgrade system, and overall layout. Simple, visually appealing and not tedious. The writing was alright, but a lot of the humour seemed hit or miss, especially for an "M" game (not sure why this is).
However, some problems. Certain missions were annoyingly difficult and tedious without both the proper units and the correct upgrades on those units (I speak mainly of the Out of the Frying Pan level in the Gaulish campaign). Also note that in these levels, it is actually impossible for the opponent to win once you have maxed out archers on the tower because the funds received outweighs the cost of repairs. Also did not quite follow those archer's ranges, which inexplicably hits long distance units at a farther range than close range units. Also, regardless of the range upgrades on the Roman archers, they continue to go into the same spot away from the enemy base as ones who were not upgraded, which was only annoying when a 300 or so gold unit gets stomped by slow infantry because they decided to make a line unnecessarily close to the enemy base...
Also, watch spelling. I did see some errors, nothing too major, can't remember where...
Other than trivial things, a good game.
