wow i think im now the reigning world champion in dieing and being stuborn! 1378 deaths! most of them from lvl 10 im blind and deaf but at least now i can die happy! and if im going down im dragging you with me! to play for all eternity!

I must be a masochist for liking this.
There's only so much you can say of a game about a jumping square on repetitive obstacle courses, so I'll be brief.
First, it was actually really fun. Fun enough that I wanted to finish. Simple mechanic and easy to get a hang of.
Unfortunately, it was SO FREAKING PAINFUL to play. My eyes hurt, as in physically ached, trying to make out the action in those stylishly low-contrast levels. Subtle contrasts are irresistible to artists, but generally don't make for great UI. So the simple graphics were pretty, but damn they hurt.
And sweet crackers, the music! It was, funky, catchy, silly and good for maybe the first dozen loops, before I felt like someone was clawing my brain from my ears with a desert spoon. Combined with the pain in my eyes, I was almost in tears by the time I decided to rest my poor, throbbing head.
What can I say, beauty is pain. I'm giving you seven for the artful presentation, but I am working so hard to resist taking off another few points for the fact that I'm now wondering if I should raid the medicine drawer for some Neurofen Plus.
