Reviews for "Red Dragon Rampage"

Just like a flashy Ipod...

This game I don't see why it's even rated so high.
My reason is simple...

Good:
The art is amazing non-the-less. Very smooth and simplified.
The audio is rather, interesting though I see not much of interest. It seems rather odd that the big dragon keeps moaning and groaning. (He's not even getting hit.)
The movement of my dragon was flawless in it's own way and as well as the slashing some times register with effort. The shop had many things to choose from and the sense of humor was rather, funny.

The bad:

Let's begin with what I have stated in the good, the dragon moaning and groaning, yet he's not even getting hit.

The game sound and art work is extremely amazing like I said before, how ever it seems like it was worked on so well that the little things were mistaken, not enough time put in to this. (Other words, awesome work with the art but try not to forget to play the game your self and see other wise.)

It took me some time to figure out that A+D are ways to move around the screen to attack. A "Hint" View option to see how to play the game and go after certain enemies would be rather nice.

Shit glitches, as I like to call them is when I was unable to grab the pile of poo that my daddy dragon crapped out. Worst case I needed it too.

My knight seem to keep attacking at the same spot, my builder was smacking at nothing and rather much, dare I say it... I was unable to attack most of the enemies. My slashes was behind, on top, right on, in front, Even under them if I was able to yet nothing was registering, half the time the health bar wouldn't come up and worst of all, the enemies just kept on going from my attacks some of the time.

The shop has but not actual list. What I mean? I brought stuff and it still remains as if it's able to be upgraded. Speaking of upgrades...

The pause menu shows "Upgrade" for several of my items. The problem is... it doesn't really give me a understanding how it's going to work or what it's going to cost. Even if it cost, "Nothing." I press it, and go back to what I was doing. I see my builder go out and start smacking and...he just smacks and smacks that fence with no bar showing, "Upgraded accomplishment." Or some thing that at least lets me know when the upgrading is complete.

Last but not least, the beginning of, "how to play." Just wasn't detail enough. I hit the enemy and I do as it states. "Click to release. Throw enemies." I didn't know quite what you meant by click to release. Throw enemies. I figure what would be nicer was. "Hold down click by grabbing certain enemies. Whip mouse and let go to fling them across or high or just let go to release." Either way it's a thought.

What I expect when the game is complete:

So far from all that I played and typed in. I like to see more flawless effort put in to the game. The actual little bugs and glitches all completed out and worked on.
My knight actually able to stop slashing at nothing and return. While most of the enemies are audible noises perfect on the instant they are hit.

Papa dragon groans and moans happen when Papa dragon is actually hit.
A option box to show controls to understand how to play.

I'm able to get a health bar for each and every character that is hit for my notice.

My allies won't be so stupid. Fence is gone, time to stop smacking. You killed the enemy, time to stop hitting.

The shop has a list actually that lets me know what I've bought or have the purchase item faded if I can't upgrade that any more.

Conclusion:
The reason this game is 4 stars.
It's like a flashy Ipod, so much sound and texture and feature that I'm amaze and love it.

Then you have all the little glitches and etc...

I can't give this game a 10 just for the effort of the art and amazement.

So please, do fix these little bugs. Thank you.

A let down...

Having played the shit out of Toss the Turtle I was all jacked up to see a game from the same devolopers. But this game was a major disappointment, the controls were mediocre at best and kept lagging the frigg and the gameplay just wasent fun. However the voice acting done by the daddy dragon was great and I kept letting the guys hit him just to hear it heh...

.-.

awesome but too much lag, reduce graphic intensity plz. cant beat wave 10 with lag.

just a few issues

all and all i like the game but there are a few small things that need fixed. several boss battles in a row papa dragon dies instantly and you never see the boss, and sometimes you end up behind and enemy you are trying to attack so it doesn't work. i would like to see the shop tell you what you ahve already bought also. other than those issues i like the game the art and audio is good and the concept is pretty fun. i don't understand why people are saying this is impossible i'm on like wave 19.

Good Game

But please fix ALL bugs and improve perfomace!
