Old School Awesome :)
I really dug this game. The color scheme and music fit the story of the game really well. I also thought that the gameplay was a fresh twist on a classic genre.
A gripe and a bug: I wish something would happen when I have all five ladybugs and get the powerup, like a screenclear or a reserve bug rather than nothing. Also when I play the game in fullscreen, pressing numbers on the keyboard doesn't change bug formations.

Fun game
I like games like this, but when it came to changing formations: the numbers didn't work. You have to scroll, which for me is a bit of a problem. Fix that, then it'd be even better. =)

It was fun and simple but a little short. I liked the ability to change formation that was new to me. Good job.

I just wish I knew a few things before I started playing...
Chiefly that the purple borders were for effect and wouldn't kill me, and that red neurons would only block me and not kill me.
Otherwise very good, especially giving me the option to change formation instead of just shooting forwards at all times.
Great Game
I found the game dynamics quite intriguing as you introduced many situations where changing formations was a vital thing...that is good because at first when I started the game I thought that that extra detail was something that wouldn't be utilized well, but it was when the nerve cords started to block and even electrocute your ladybugs...excuse me, I meant butcher bugs.
The game itself was simplistic in look and play yet this helped the developing theme and rythym of play. It was also slightly challenging but nothing alittle practice couldn't overcome. Replayability doesn't really come to mind, but hell, you impressed me.
Overall: thumbs up. 5 outta 5 and 9 outta 10.
