great retro styled classic
this game really borrows heavily from the 8 and 16 bit era action platformers(particularly the ghost n goblins series) and does it with great style. the pixelated visuals go great with the game, it has the same level of addictive and challenging gameplay require by these types of games, and provides consistent reason to push forward for new weapons and ablilites. unfortunalty it also borrowed the at times touchy jumping mechanic, but i sopose thats part of the experience. the only thing missing is having the character jump out into his underwear when hit lol, great job! :)
