Reviews for "Closed In Addendum"

Way too short.

There is no plot to this game. Just emotional stuff about love. What was up with the aliens. It's not something I have to figure out for myself, there are no fucking clues.

well..

dude, seriously - even art games need to have gameplay.
This was just tedious and slow - and the parts which actually offered some basic jumping gameplay were badly done since most of the jumps were mostly lucky tries since the actual jump length\width wasn't compatible with the actual jumps needed in the game.

I don't know.

Dude, like everybody said, the message is a little messed up, i think this is the kind of game made for one person to understand, in this case, you, i suppose.
And besides, you said in description:
"so I hope you can find something significant for yourself in it. Because that's what it's all about!"
From my point of view, there was nothing significant, therefore, for me, this game was a "waste of time".

Hope you get better though. Good Luck.

PS: she moves just too slow. =P

"You chose betrayal" ...?!

This is kinda short, and I kinda got disappointed. But really, betrayal? I see no betrayal in the desire to live. I like the idea and plot behind this, but seriously, it's not betrayal if you choose not to suicide, even if it's over someone whom you love, yet is gone. It sounds ridiculous if you think about it.

The Mystery of Art

I too have to confess some confusion as to the real point of this game.

You set up this atmosphere of being alone in this house at night. You're given the ability to investigate things as you rifle though the contents of your home. Eventually you walk outside where you're given more things to look at and investigate. A baby cradle that's empty. A broken car you can't drive. More of this mystery unfolds when you find a trashed station and meteors fall from the sky

You're given all this information to shuffle through, but in the end none of it matters. You don't get to put any of your searching to use or uncover any mystery. It comes down to a choice of following your lover or running away. A metaphor for relationships and their uncertain nature.

My problem with this "game" is it's conflicting nature. If you want to make an artistic statement about love, then make it. Don't give us all these features that we'll never use, like "investigate". It's useless. Don't give us all these mysteries and story points. It's pointless. All it does is disappoint people.
