Reviews for "Zombies - Surrounded"

Nice game

A bit frustrating though - you have to look for random items in random places, like for a piece of wood and a key - it increases playtime artificially, not in a fun way.

Big plus for quality of animation, sounds and voices.

Good combination of genres.

I did enjoy the game overall, especially your combination of different genres. However, the few problems I do have with the game involve how real it feels. Who is really going to tap on a crack a few times to get a key? Where exactly did the rifle come from? I assumed from the corpse on the bed, but it was leaning up against a wall. I read through some of the other reviews, and I saw that you said you wanted the gun to be more realistic. I can't think of a sniper rifle that is bolt action that carries that many rounds. The one thing that really bothered me though, I don't know exactly why, is that you had an ax handle and head separated by a few yards. I hope that you do make more games, and continue to improve. I hope this review was helpful to you.

I wanted to make shooting it feel more realistic. That's what I meant.
I don't really care about how they reload. It's just a game.

Almost there but not quite. :V

What can i say, mmh i definitely liked the shooting part with the hunting rifle, however tho finding the crack was a pain the arse. All in all the game was really fun and you mixed fps and bird view very well, i liked your approach of this game, but it was too short and it didn't capture much of the horror genre where zombies are involved. Good attempt but i am sure the series has potential to do better.

Disapointing.

By that I don't mean to say the game is bad, but it has the same problems of its predecessor, witch is a big disapointment. Also, the fact that the whole game happens in just one place is a disapointment too. Though the game is more fun to play and looks better than the original, out of a sequel I would expect more.

- - - Great Cutscenes - - -

Only two things that nearly ruined this game for me. The location of the hidden key needed to open the drawer. And, the location of the practically hidden batteries. Other than those, a good game.

MichaelJ responds:

That ruined the whole game for you? Wow...
