this is horrible. there's nothing special about it; it's a stupid, generic, melodramatic anti-[insert noun] psa. it's not inspirational. it's not deep or thought-provoking. it's just picking at the same "here's what to think and what to do" bullshit we've all been suffering since kindergarten. honestly, the smokers you'd "especially" like to share this with won't be affected by it at all unless their iq is somewhere below 60. i mean, do you really think someone is going to see this and say "OH MY GOD I HAD NEVER THOUGHT OF IT LIKE THAT WHY DO THEY NOT MAKE THE DANGERS OF SMOKING MORE CLEAR"? please. not only do things like this either annoy or amuse smokers (or any other kind of "user," depending), but they also evoke curiosity in the abstinent, little by little.
so look. i'm supposed to be constructive. i do smoke, but i fully support any program that wants to help people quit. the problem with anti-(anything) campaigns is that they always run these threatening, insulting, manipulative ads that never say anything other than "LOOK AT THIS SEE YOUR LIFE WILL BE RUINED YOU ARE HORRIBLE IF YOU DO THIS" or "IF YOU DO THIS THEN YOU ARE A MINDLESS SHEEP SO INSTEAD DO EXACTLY WHAT WE TELL YOU AND KEEP STARING DUMBLY INTO THE TELEVISION SCREEN AND EVERYTHING WILL BE OKAY." your video is no exception. either try something new or stop beating people in the face with whatever concept you go with. seriously. "FUCKING LOOK AT THIS SHIT YOU'RE GONNA DIE AND EVERYONE YOU LOVE WILL BE DEVASTATED LOOK AT IT." i'm sorry if this was inspired by your own life experience, but if you want to inspire anyone else, you'll have to try harder. no stupid metaphors. no ham-handed attempts at sensitivity. just try something else.

lame
really this quit smoking stuff is usually lame, but this one was really hokey. it was a good idea but i don't think it even made me think once i should quit smoking, or even care a little bit about it. the simple art style coupled with cheesy music kinda killed it. lose the music, and switch up the style to something more detailed, with sharper lines

What would it matter to the person who died from a cigarette-smoking related affliction what happens to their loved ones? They are dead, and no, they aren't observing you from heaven because heaven doesn't exist either. People do what they want with their lives, and we all die eventually. Also, everything was tweened and the drawings were mediocre.
