Just to point out

That if you smoke you indeed die sooner.
Sooner meaning 3or4 years .. In a lifetime of +-75-80 years thats nothing and its their choice to smoke so what ?
Ever heard of the song "just let it be" ?

I find the entire campaign some what racial.
Racial not meaning skin tone .. but its like a school teacher telling you what you should and shouldn't do.

If a black person steals a car that doesn't mean they all do.
If a smoker smokes a sigarette taht doesn't mean he is fu*king up the world.

I gave a 4/10 because i like the animation itself.
Not the idea.

Unfortunately

life is never this perfect, true happiness never lasts. If your father doesn't smoke maybe he beats you, maybe he molests you as a kid. You can hate your parents for a number of reasons i guess what im trying to say is that this doesn't convince me that as soon as you quit smoking life gets better, that all problems go away and your suddenly happy. also the animation was nothing to write home about and the plot was nonexitant

Hey, I'm an artist too!

I have an idea for another flash you can do - Show some kid smoking a cigarette, and not far from him, his faithful puppy looks on, sad and neglected. Ooh, and here's another one! Show a guy, smoking a cigarette, then when he's finished, have him walk away, accidentally leaving his pack of cigarettes behind. A few moments later, the guy's son/daughter, walks up and discovers the pack of cigarettes and picks them up. Play some ominous music, then fade to black.
Does this sound familiar to anybody? It should, because just like this cartoon, it's the same, sickening garbage we've been force-fed since kindergarten! i This is not 'touching' or 'inspirational'. It's just more soulless propaganda from the anti-smoking Nazis. Don't get me wrong - smoking is bad - but let's not pretend like this is art, and give it ten star ratings for its 'emotional' quality.
If the author really was an artist, he(she?) could have picked a million different self-destructive behavioral patterns to model the father character after, but he chose smoking. Why? Well, given that he's already identified himself as part of the anti-smoking group, I'd think that answer was a given.
Stop preaching, and let people enjoy their godd*mn cigarettes!

Story wise, it was going good until it flashed back from his picture frame to the park bench and that singular, mystical, falling piece of bird crap put out his smoke.
One star for excellent animations.
Minus nine stars for a sappy message.
Take a 'lifetime of happiness' and shove it, it's all BS anyways.

If you really were an artist...why didn't you use a more artistic scenario rather than sticking with the tried and tested, never worked then-why work now, anti smoke campaigns?

the only people which like them are non-smokers!! It makes smokers want to smoke more!

If you decide to take art seriously...base art on what your hear feels, not what your ego feels.
