Could be better, but the story is still told well.

The animation wasn't impressive. I like the doodle-drawing style of the art, but I feel like if it was cleaned up and the animation was both smoother and more consistent, it would help the feel of the Flash. The presentation also could have been improved; if pauses were used a little more carefully and more thought was put into the art to match the mood of the movie itself, the mood may have been enhanced.

But I still think that overall you did a fine job using grayscale and symbolism to tell a sweet, simple, innocent, nonviolent story of loss and love without any words at all. It didn't feel forced or totally unnatural, which is more than I can say about most other love stories I've seen.

I cant completely agree with the message portrayed here, ive been in the position of wanting her back after the same bearkup, however if she had come back i doubt it would be the right decision as she obviously felt you where not good enough in the first place. rant aside. i like how this was made with the contrasting colour and the simple sweetness =)

Then he would walk away and find somebody new. The whole love story in this animation to me felt mediocre. Rushed. But I loved that concept you had with the background's color change. When everything isn't ok, it's black. But when it is, the background is white. Very clever.

Love may be a way to happiness, but it can be taken away just as easily, and just as quickly. Be faithful to your lover, and hope they return the favor. Your happiness will then be eternal.

Umm.

Its not entirely frame by frame. There's quite a few looping movie clips actually. Including the faceless crowd walking. The guy probably shouldn't take that girl back either if she ditched him for a big buff dude. She needs to learn a lesson. Smack her or something.
Overall, the animation was decent I suppose and I watched it and understood what you were going for, but in my opinion the ending felt wrong.

Yeah, that bit hasn't happened to me yet, either... still, a bit of wishful thinking never harmed anyone...
Plus, it would have been a pretty miserable without the happy ending.
Fingers crossed we both get our happy endings, eh? :)
