Needs hot keys

incredibly lame it's balanced around not using hot keys, makes your hand hurt after a few levels. Could have been a lot of fun, just too tired and tedious after a few games.

Poor Control Design

This game is difficult to control on a laptop and would probably start to hurt after a while of play on a desktop. Theres a difference between having a hard game and a stupid, difficult to use control scheme. A games control scheme should be comfortable and easy whilst the gameplay itself should be difficult.

well..

90% of this games hardness is from "there are no hot keys"..

at least we can farm.. much faster kill much better gold..

much higher mobs and faster kill gives more gold than weak and really quick kill..

about those units :
angel shoots only on where he stands..
the girl heals, id prefer the heal all..
the old man long cooldown but can target anyone..
the last dude damages everything, even if its cooldown is long..

sad that we must agonizingly play heaven before hell..

there are no save game.. its no prob..

another thing, "do not use teleport quest".. i positioned 4 of my men and wow.. lol.. rofl.. lmao.. the enemy are at the top and bottom.. (menu + quit + organize units + play)... <--- would be better if we can see clearly the next wave of enemy and its positions.. either way we will click that stage and see it..

lastly

the challenge where we must use only angels and just freakin throw away the fully upgraded girl oldman and aoe dude..

im done.. until the better version comes..

Game balance and Hotkeys

I know other people have said this before, and I'm sure you are tired of hearing it, but if you can't balance the game to be at the difficulty you want it to without allowing for keyboard shortcuts, you should look at the game mechanics again. Making people use the mouse perform every action moves the difficulty out of the strategy realm and into the twitch clicking realm. If you want to make a real time strategy game, your main focus should be on the strategy side, and that aspect of this game seems to really be lacking. The low number of units and even lower number of ways to use them leaves each battle feeling exactly the same and very straightforward.

You could very easily add some shortcuts to this without drastically affecting the balance. Maybe only shortcuts for selecting units, but you still have to click the actions, or the other way around. You wouldn't expect people to play basketball with their fingers taped together, and you should expect your players to be forced to using only one hand with the most tedious interface possible. It's not fair to the user to have to deal with that, and it's not fair to the game for the heat it will get for refusing to implement such a common, standard method of input. You are also making it impossible for people with non-standard mouse input devices (such as touchpads) to play this game at all. You might as well make the game only playable with a gamepad.

All that said, I really want to like this game. The pace feels ok, the graphics and sound are high-quality and the overall presentation of the game feels very professional. You are hurting yourself by alienating large portions of your potential fan base, over something as simple as a control scheme.

The other main issue I found with the game was the lack of any way to temporarily bench your units. Having to delete several high-level units worth several hundred coins each just to meet the challenge for a particular level was painful, and there are some times when I would like to be able to change my team makeup without being forced to go back and grind some of the easier missions to make the money to level up brand new units.

TLDR: Be more flexible with your controls, even if it means tweaking the gameplay to accommodate it, and add a place to put units out of the lineup without deleting them.

i didn't get past training..

It's so slow after hitting one scarecrow ten times and it wasn't dead i just got frustrated and bored.

LOVED the little film at the start of the game though ^_^
