WTF!

How do you make this beautiful music!? What program are you using and do you make the violin sounds with samples or are you recording yourself playing violin?

So beautiful. you got talent!

medieval7 responds:

well i use FL studio. Thank you very, very much

Nice

sounds good appeals to the title ill use this and rate a 5 for such good work

Nice Work

Nice Job! This piece loses a lot of feeling because of the electronic sounding sounds. This particular piece would sound really nice with Vienna Symphonic Library samples, they would really suit this piece. I think this is a great start, but a piece like this benefits from all of the little additions you don't really hear, but feel. Work on instrument expression automation.

What software and sounds are you using for this?

medieval7 responds:

Fruity loops, and Edirol

:D

sounds like music from the game Myth. I am a big of this guy called Marty O'Donnell and I say that I can compare your music to his! Very good.

Truly sad

Hey there Medieval7.

Lets jump right into the song. I found the beginning was a little too boring. The fun really begun at 0:50 where that violin melody kicks in. All of it leading up to this part takes a bit too long. I consider 30 seconds being the rule of thumb before you should change or add things to the melody.

Lovely work with that choir.

I felt the sudden melody change at 2:00 was a very interesting twist, and could have been handled differently. It was a little too abrupt, changing from the slow, painful melody to a hyper depressed kind of feel.

Putting all that aside, I really liked your melody again. It seems i'm enjoying your melody work a great deal, I don't know why, I just like them a good deal.

4/5 from me Medieval7, keep them coming man. I won't be around NG much, so i'll be writing a few reviews here, trying to be as critical and constructive as possible.

medieval7 responds:

ok, thanks for your review
