Slow. Awesome. Still slow.
Totally liked the game, but there were several downsides...
1. Performance. Yes, I didn't feel any problem while playing story on my middle-end desktop. But - as soon as I went into Challenge mode, sometimes I had less than 1 frame per second.
so - an option to toggle off the trace lines would be appreciated
2. Bosses. First one was the hardest one - you actually needed to dodge. With the second one you just needed to dodge or break missile in first part - and stay in one place hammering away at launching port. Third one - hide in the corner and shoot. No need to move much... Maybe make them harder?
3. Ship balance. Possibly connected with previous one - as soon as I got the little ship, I loved it. It has terrific firepower and can dodge anything with ease - just at a cost you lose it from one hit. Not die - just lose this ship. I never was shot down in this thing - so maybe add some positive properties to other ships - say, SANE aiming for the missile launcher, and more armor to the "truck", and do anything with the sideshooter? They are way too underpowered in comparison to the small ship - and therefore useless as you get it
I liked the game - but you could do something with playability... If not for the terrible performance, challenge mode would be really fun.
Oh, and one actual bug. If your CPU is under stress, game may turn into something weird - you flying around as a spark yet invincible (you don't die as energy runs out) and a non-capturable ship flying nearby, covered in some interface animations. It's weird =/
