Reviews for "Night of the Cursed"

Pretty poor!

This wasn't a great game, I'm surprised it got front page to be perfectly honest. I though it was interesting how you differentiated between story mode and survival, as after what was the story? Two people find a building, and stay there shoot endless hordes of zombies? Poor effort on that front!
As for the gameplay, it was O.K at best. Graphically I thought it was good, and it controlled well, but it was too easy. All you need is the P90 and your set, especially if you sit by the window in the bottom left hand corner.
Improvements for a future sequel? Increase the difficulty (more expensive weapons, lower accuracy, tougher zombies), and add A STORY! (i.e. different settings along the character's journey to some stronghold somewhere, i don't know, what ever you want).

Typical, Not Extraordinary.

Pros: Easy to Play. Easy Upgrade System. Partner System. Lots of Different Weapons.

Cons: Too Easy. Upgrades are Bland, and the Same on Every Gun. Only Three People? Not too much Eye Candy. Music is Repetitive.

Basic Review: This is just your average Top-Down Zombie killfest. Extremely, extremely easy. Even on the harder difficulty I just bought the machine gun and stood in the bottom-left corner. I never had to move, I just laid mines down the long-stretch and blew away everything that came close. It was THAT easy. I never had to kite them or employ any kind of advanced tactics.

NOT TO MENTION HAVING TO PAY FOR ANYTHING IN A FLASH GAME IS... Well, I'll let you finish that sentence with your chosen expletive.

What I'd Like To See: Seriously has potential and if there ever is a follow-up game it will have a lot of potential, I liked the party system, I just wish it was more expanded. I want to upgrade my party members, maybe they'll have abilities they can use. Also, this game needs more environments. If I'm in a Story Mode, I don't expect to be stuck in one building during the whole encounter. Improve the presentation, give the guns upgrades unique to each, and for God sake MAKE MORE STUFF FREE. Why would anyone want to play to unlock something? If you wanted to make a player pay for something, then you should of offered way more for free. Much, much more. I have no incentive to pay when I can just play another Zombie shooter that offers more complexities for no price whatsoever.

meh

was kinda good but way too glitchy

Quick review

Some good, alot of bad, let us start positively:
It is addictive, it is basic and fun and the bad is mostly fixable.

here is the bad in order from least to worst:
1. Voice acting was lack luster.
2. Sound effects made me sigh and stress.
3. Lack of power-up types.
4. Weapons, I got the combat shotgun very quickly, and here at over a million points I have needed nothing else. With the reload and accuracy upgrades on the Combat Shotgun I can one or two shot an enemy, and using problem number 6 I haven't even gotten close to being touched. I can shoot one shell a second and never have to delay for a reload, because the Speed Loader makes it that a single second interval can be constant and effective.
5. Bugged walking, the game bugs out sometimes when walking.
6. This was EASILY exploitable, The Mines, They drop a mine every thirty seconds, they are fairly cheap, and fairly effective. Right now I have the entire trip from any door to me rigged with them, and they never reach me, the only doorway I can not stack mines in is the one in my room, which even with just four mines is no problem, Mines are cheap, easy, effective and easily exploitable. Fix it, make them either more expensive, make the explosion interval longer or limited, or make Zombies give less points.

started out suspenseful, ended up boring. Zombies = too slow, guns = too easily unlocked, gamergold thing = stupid, map = too basic
