The guy is obviously on smack...
Lets be honest he's cleary on smack, think about it, met when he was a teenager, been on his left arm ever since. she says he can't go without her, and the hospital ending saying he missed his viens and arterys... quite clearly, on smack.
Good game, text could be clearer i struggled to understand who was saying what at first, the music was good, fit the mood perfectly i also loved the graphics and the colour scheme, overall really enjoyed it :) 9/10
Endings
I played the game several times. And each time I kept getting the same ending. A little deviation in branching, but the same ending. I was starting to wonder if there actually were different endings. So I played completely different than I ever would and I finally got a different ending. Which took my interpretation of the ending I got to another level completely. It fit me completely. And I couldnt believe it. It answered everything for me. Now I know what I must do. I love her. This a brilliant game. I absolutely love it. Even without this deeper connection it was well put together and thought out. Incredible. Inspires me to make something similiar of my own (dont expect anything here, Im only good in C++ and TI-84 calculator programming). I hope to see something of such tremendous quality in the future. I have no doubts of how well it would and will be.

I think I understood what it was by my second playthrough. First time around I decided to leave Leigh, and the second time we stayed together. But I think she's a figment of his imagination that represents an addiction of some sort, and was created subconsiously.
I think were it just something he *purposely* created on his own, she would love him. But after playing through the first two times (and later after I got the hospital ending) I noticed that while she said he needed her, she never at any point said that she loved him. Ever. Whenever the question about why she was there arose, she said it was because he needed her help, because no one else would help him, care for him or like him. Also, whenever he thought about not needing her she flickered, as if he was coming to his senses.
Innocent
I feel so strange after this. I played this three times for the three endings before reading the reviews, and I must say I didn't even consider the hidden methaphor of the game.
At some point I did think this she was actually a vg character in the game world. Maybe that's because that's my addiction? Not sure, but don't know if I want that addiction to go away. I guess I'm the coward archetype :-)
I do think it's meant to be drugs, but really it's subjective. A beautiful game.
