Poor collision detection

The graphics were pretty nice, but the difficulty seemed to be related more to Voly's hitbox being too big than to the gameplay. It's way too easy to get blocked by a corner on a piece of scenery that the character isn't visibly touching. Also, the rules determining whether or not a Bubba slapped you seemed illogical - for example, if a rock stands partially in front of a Bubba's non-slapping hand, he won't hit you, even if you're standing directly in front of him.

This game struck me as being "defective by design" - the difficulty and solutions to puzzles look more like bugs than intentional design decisions.

maybe im stupid...

I CANNOT get past level 3... it says to push the rocks, however i can't "pull" the rocks to get to the exit.. i need to in order to proceed.

Several wonky mechanics simply ruined the gameplay

The puzzles are challenging, and I liked that.. but there're several things that can be easily improved on to make the gameplay better.

1. First of all, the burrowing and unburrowing animation is way too slow. I dread every time I had to burrow to get through a puzzle because it takes like 2 seconds to burrow, and 2 more seconds to unburrow... A simple exploding out of ground, and a diving into the ground would've produced a much better and sleeker efefct.

2. The inability to walk diagonally, and obstacle areas (i.e. plants, cyrstals, rocks) being not well defined both hurts the gameplay. There are levels where those things slap you into a pulp, and you have to walk fast to get through obstacles... It is just SO annoying to walk straight into an obstacle which I thought I can get thru, and then also finding that I can't walk diagonally... *sigh* Moreover, one'd think that one can walk through or burrow through those small little rocks and plants.

3. Ledges and boundaries need to be better defined also.

You may think I'm being stingy, but since the puzzle requires good timing, and require obvious repetitive actions... the walking and burrowing REALLY needs to be more smooth.

Other than that, I liked the puzzles :D
