Reviews for "Meet Larry"

Good stuff

Tragedies, the underrated form of storytelling on Newgrounds, makes a solid comeback with this flash. It wasn't the animation, because honestly that was sub par (I'm not an animator, but that just seemed not to be the best animation. It was too...stiff. There was little fluidity, if that makes sense).

Bad aside, I said this was making a comeback for dramatic flashes, and I meant it. The voice was great, reminds me of a Christian Bale as Batman sort of voice, and everyone knows batman is the symbol of everything dark and tragic (even though he is the good guy). What I really appreciate in this dark atmosphere is the good message put into place at the end. I was captivated throughout the flash, and the last words Larry said really hit a spot in my mind. You understand how to toy with human emotions well, which is another good thing.

Anywho, I'm just rambling now. Good flash, good message, good show!

Generic Comment

At first I was going to brush this off as something generic, but I'm glad I stuck around long enough to watch it all. Truly sir, I found it rather indulging in its entirety. Rather than to lay some dull joke or other way to quick fame, you handed us a firm form of reality. To you sir, thank you, and keep up the good work.

Slow Clap Material

Wow....everything was moving in this flash. Voice acting, art style, choice of music.....all of it put together in one masterpiece. This will probably be the best animation ever on NewGrounds.

wow

that was amazing

"I'm at a loss of words..."

...but over the past year that I've been coming to this cite, I have never once seen a flash animation that has actually moved me the way this one has. I would highly recommend that you enter this in some kind of contest or something, you would blow the competition out of the water with Larry. The only suggestion that I could make is that you add more features to Larry. (shading, depth, etc.) Other than that it left me speechless, keep up the great work and can't wait to see more.
