This was cool.
Maybe I didn't like the moral that much though, I mean everyone has to do stuff they don't want to do, this was a little overexaggerated too.

Good effort, but need to work on execution
I like the idea and message of this flash. The noir palette fits perfectly, but two things took away the illusion from me.
The voice acting sounded a bit too forced, and the writing was a bit too transparent for my taste, I felt like the visuals and the writing were merely repeating each other, instead of complementing each other. I understand Larry wished to be an astronaut the moment I saw him lift off in space. I think it's redundant for him to restate, "I could have been an astronaut."
In my own journal, reflecting on your animation, I wrote this:
"Write naturally. You are the character speaking. Write vaguely, the audience loves to piece together the puzzle -- they don't want to be preached to. Don't underline your punchline. Hint at it."
I learned lots from watching your flash -- I hope that my input helps you.

The writing gave me some chills. "Laying here in a pool of my own irony." Just top notch. Great acting, too. It was a little annoying to hear the static from the mic come and go, but I understand that's hard to get rid of. The art and animation was mostly great, especially when Larry's in outer space and flying towards the Sun. But Larry's face doesn't seem right for his badass voice.

That was incredible. The atmosphere that short movie created was incredible. I felt like I was suddenly sitting in a cinema ffs. You have some great talent there ;)
