Very much potential!
There is still much to do regarding the graphics and bugs(those big ufos always disapeared out of no reason) but the storyline seems very interresting.

In all honesty, the actual defense portion of the game lasted about 5-7 rounds too long for what this game is. There is a bug with at least mouse controls that will have the turret auto fire at the start of each round. Adding in the auto turrets it was a matter of just angling it to shoot towards the highest ships and letting the others take the rest out. The ending as well is a decent cliff hanger but just a few seconds to show something is barely a reward.
As well, there is no need to have to walk between the research station and defense station in the base. It is just an annoyance not needed in the game as well as the post defense nightmare wandering after every level. It is just as annoying when you do it for 22+ levels.

I did enjoy this game... but there are a few issues that you need to address I think... the most pressing of which is the Auto-turrets they are considerably overpowered... you can quite happily leave the main gun facing the wrong way and complete the game (Once you have all three auto-turrets) I tried it first on 17 and got through to 24 with no problems (then logged in to review.)
This might sound a bit random but I dont really like having to hack the crap out of my keyboard to finish the game... I have a nice keyboard I dont wana trash it!
Also I noticed that (for me at least) the chaingun didnt seem to have great Ai sometimes it would not attack the little things that were running along the ground, but would continue to attack the big slow flying things instead. And im farily sure in the description it said would Auto-target the nearest enemy :)
I did enjoy it though and would look forward to a sequel... just maybe a bit more balancing on the next one!
well..
was easy breasy of course... but when u buy the nitrogen gun it wont let u switch to any other... and i got to 200% awake but then my auto guns shoot them down to fast and it breaks the game
the jets are un shootable when this happens
old ships apear in the new waves that u cannot shoot either...
fun though lol
