Of course its good, but...
You shouldn't have the whole first episode with no real story/explanation. W ehave no chance to really see much personality and to care what happends to the characters.
Good sounds, animation, music, VA. Hope ep 2 makes a bit more sense.

I kinda have to agree that the characters are basic but otherwise good.
To everyone else that is wondering about backstory...you don't watch backstory in the first episode otherwise it wouldn't be back story. The creator gives you something interesting and open to invite you back to watch more episodes. Hopefully if this guy knows what he/she is doing they will unfold that as the series progresses.
It was a good anime style animation and I for one can't wait to see how this develops!
Grumble
A lot of effort went into this. It was decent, but the running scene at the beginning, where he ran his his arms outstretched behind him was needless- contrary to what anime would have you believe, the only time that sort of pose is used is when the runner comes out of a dive roll to retain forward momentum, it allows you to run while your body is unbalanced, and even then it's only done for three or four steps before running normally.
The "Pathetic" bit at the end made me sick. Oh great, another vageta/sasuke/gaara/hiei aloof cold-hearted antihero type- is there a factory somewhere in taiwan mass-producing them?
Quality
I don't know if it was just me but eveything just seemed to be alittle pixelated. This animation also did remind me a lot of the Naruto series, and that nothing really to new was thrown out there. Also, from watching this ep. I was confused on what exactly was going on. I've seen your animations sence I was in middle school, so I would think after all these years you would have brought somthing better to the table. Animation is still A lot better than most peole on this site. So you did a decent job.
Average
It takes alot of elements from other anime shows, and it feels like I'm watching a variation of one. Though the animation is better than I can do, it is not the best, but not the worst. I didn't mind the voice actors, though they aren't as good as some of the ones I've heard. =] I think it can be much better, but you are off to a good start. It was entertaining to watch at least. Good luck with the next one and you have alot of potential. =]
