Reviews for "Babies Dream of Dead Worlds"

Relaxing

Interesting concept, although I wish there were more "dead worlds" that we could explore. I like the fact that it's not overly action-packed or competetive, it's just sort of a laid-back experience. I agree with previous reviews in that the gold-hunting kind of took too long, if you wanted to get any kind of score--Mel's story was definitely the most interesting.

Beautiful.

First off, the Fuzor and and Naaij levels are not at all what I like about this game. They are generic and unimaginative, and they do not add to the atmosphere. (Well, except the speech in the last levels.)

What I love about this game, is the story, and the weirdness. The scribble-like characters perfectly fit into the thoughts of a baby, and they are so abstract I can't even tell what I'm looking at when I see their portraits. But it just fits, because who am I to say what another world would look like?
But even more than that, Mel's storyline was excellent. It was basic, but hit me so hard. The feel that you are watching a world that knows it will end, is something that cannot be expressed often, even less so in a game with childish, pixel graphics...but it works. Thankyou.

why they look like penises?

just asking...

so-so 50-50

its great imagenation.
but i feel bit of brain-washed when playing :/

Deep...I think

When I play this I get the feeling I should be learning a life lesson or something. It makes me oddly calm, congrats on keeping up you reputation of trippy, creative, deep games. I enjoy them alot but they don't seem like something everyone would enjoy. It's like an Indie game.

I would've liked better graphics and perhaps a more developed plot beyond the beginning. What happened to mell? I'm still curious...
