Sure, the fact that it's a joke will alienate non-fans, but that's the whole basis of video game humor. If we didn't have such luxuries, who knows what we'd all be doing right about now? Probably the same thing we are now. Maybe not. Oh well.
Still, lovely animation and an interestingly drawing opening number.

God the first time you play that level in Super Mario 64 and the piano just suddenly comes to life and starts barking and biting after your ass, super freaky shit
What was worse in that level though was the creepy repeating organ music for the rotating room. that haunts me to this day

Okay, that was good. I'm only giving you an eight because I think it could be just a little bit funnier. I felt like I was only slowly hearing the very beginning of the joke...and then before you know "BOOM" punchline!
