Reviews for "Mecharon"

I second. Game is impossible.

Giving a boss an undodgeable weapon that can destroy the player in just five shots is a fucking terrible design decision. Telling us we just weren't clever enough to come up with the "strategy" of chaining invincibility powerups endlessly just tells me you never actually playtested this yourself. I've lost count of how many times I've played this level. I've found shields all of twice. What you are suggesting is not possible and it frankly offends me that you find it grounds to respond to critics by blaming us for not doing the impossible.

I might have given this points for the gameplay I got up to the impossible boss, but you lost them for taking criticism like John Romero.

I've tested the game hundred (maybe thousand) times. I killed the boss easy with different combinations of perks. The powerups (shield and medikit) drops not randomly in this level. Each 3 robots contains: 1st: shiled, 2nd: medikit, 3d: nothing or random powerup. But just for you and people like you I am making the boss easer.
The Prison Keeper is much weaker now: -30% HP -10% Range -20% Damage

Good rehash of an Idea

This was a very smooth and nice looking game, and it showed lots of edvidence that you put substancial time into making it.

Pros: Good visuals, interisting concept (story)

Cons: Crosshair, aiming, shoting, perk system

This game is almost EXACTLY like one called CRIMSONLAND, which employed a perk system as well as a top down shooter with almost the same movement method (theirs was smoother). So to me this just seemed like a bad Clone of that game.

So that's why this review is so overly bais, because I just see a lot of crmson land in it.

Yet another Crimsonland clone

I don't understand author's intention to create another clone of epic 10ton's Crimsonland, but it looks like worst of them. Even couple of innovated perks can't give any fresh feeling into it. Sorry, but
Gameplay - 0 (I don't feel any survival drive)
Soundtrack - 0 (depressing short loop)
Graphics- 0 (boring landscapes and melancholic enemies)
Controls - 0 (nuff said)

make better ;)
Don't you know that Crimsonland is clone of Robotron: 2084? (1984)
