The game overall was very good, but I have some complaints:
-Text is good, but give some more characters that have text so I can move around a little.
-It sounded like you had a second choice at the end, so I defeated the boss and replayed through the game (with ease thanks to the easter egg, which sort of added the thought of replay) and died at the boss, but it gave me a death screen.
-Some pixels didn't match with their identicals (i.e. entrance and exit of town)
Hmm, more characters that have text? Sure, that's something for the sequel.
And no, you don't have a second choice, well, you could die, but that's not really an alternate ending, now is it?

I LOVE all the Atari references you made, even though this was much more like Super Mario Land. I do agree, though, that most games today are unoriginal (Call of Duty Black Ops come to mind). I used to love Activision, now I think they suck, along with Id (They made Doom). P.S. If you have patience, read ALL the princess' text, EASTER EGG CLUE ALERT!
