not

not stolen this is so popular because this type of game has been played alot over the past few years

Good game but...

Some fighting type units just sucked or were plain useless, the dagger throwers were useless and so was the army of spearmen that barely ever came useful.

Another problem is when you use up all your troops... some die some just walk into thin air and are never seen or heard from again. And this is a problem since my leader also charged due to the lack of soldiers, ignored most of the enemy and the tower, was useless once they got near the base. I had to sit and wait 5 minutes for the enemy to sloooooooowly destroy my base because the retreat button wouldn't work or the arrows were a couple of inches missing the enemys head over and over.

Overall it was really good though the non ranged generals were just plain useless in my oppinion. Only got you killed.

Broken But Fun

This game is fun and is based on a good concept, yet it is lacking in several respects. For one, a little more explanation on combat would be really nice; it is hard to tell what each unit can do at first.

Clicking the minimap should jump directly to the square clicked, instead of bringing up a big map. Possibly another button could be used for the large map.

I didn't realize that the town center had upgrades until day 30. Maybe make this more obvious?

The enemy armies aren't shown on the strategy screen! It becomes a game of memory trying to recall where to send you troops first and second. It doesn't make sense to call it strategy when you can't see where the troops are.

What do traps do? I played to level 60, setting traps everywhere, and twice I got the message "Your trap has worked," or whatever it says. Well, what did it do? I still don't know.

The units are really unbalanced, even after upgrading. If it were up to me, I would only take 100 gunmen everywhere, and I would ditch both melee units right away. They're way too limited and weak.

Finally, the dealbreaker here: it's way too easy, because the fights are broken. Here's how:

~~~~~SPOILER~~~~~
Take at least 4 commanders to a fight, and 20 of each unit to go with them. Use a flower and let your commanders do all the fighting. Send every unit on the bottom row as fast as possible. Use the special abilities to help everyone get through. If done correctly, you'll net about 40,000 gold per fight. Simply rebuy your army and repeat. You can buy every upgrade in the game in about a dozen fights if you're willing to put in the time.
~~~~~END SPOILER~~~~~

Overall, it's a good game. It looks nice, even if the framerate tanks at the higher levels (maybe my netbook? idk). With a little polish it could become very good.

good and bad

the game is bored in the sentiment of the game in general but the grafics is very impressive for a one game soo bored not you take a bad
