Reviews for "Parkour Parkour Brooklyn"

Not bad

I mean, sure it's a Quicktime Event & it plays through exactly the same each time, but it's a pleasant diversion. The fast pace, action, & music make it feel almost like you're the little stickman jumping & climbing around Brooklyn.

good concept, poor execution

You said you made it a quick time game to keep the action flowing, but you stop the music for prompts all the time! making it very choppy and not flowing at all.instead of prompting the player right before they have to react, have the button come on the screen as soon as that part of the map does, then only make it clickable when the character gets close enough, it still gives time for the player to react but maintains flow. I like the idea, but maybe like other people have said, give some choice, like forks in the road, it'd be good to parkour around one map seven different ways. Also maybe use some keyboard combinations instead of just point and click. Also maybe you can have certain events which allow the player to perform different tricks to earn points or something.
Hope you actually read these and make a better game next time, good luck.

Not challenging or entertaining

Parkour is a very challenging sport, not for the faint of heart. To translate it into a game with three controls where you don't really have ANY choices does not do the sport justice.

Perhaps adding choices would be a good adition. I wouldn't doubt you're making more levels as we speak, so I won't point that out as a flaw. Also, the artwork wasn't much to look at.

Altogether not very fun, and I really am wondering why it made the front page.

good idea

poor execution. not too fond of the point and click here. i would rather be able to move on my own and maybe have some on screen prompts mixed in for special maneuvers. even if you keep it point and click, it's too choppy. with the prompts, it pauses the music, and it makes for a laggy feel. im not too fond of the music either, it doesnt really feel right.

QTE's are the worst things to happen to gamestoday

And you want to make an entire flash game based off of them? Just no.
