Reviews for "Parkour Parkour Brooklyn"

Meh.

As a traceur, I find that the flow of PK allows for the greatest thrill - immersing yourself in the speed, thrill, and danger of the moment. Now, I liked the IDEA of the game, as it was, in and of itself, fairly exciting, but the execution wasn't what a traceur would indulge in.
The problem is that you stop the game in order to execute moves, which absolutely kills any thrill that the game held at the point of movement execution. You pretty much take the speed out of parkour.
That being said, you did have a good idea, and I'll give you marks for that. For a good idea of execution, play the game Mirror's Edge - that should give you a general idea of what speed you should aspire to.

just average

I was a good idea but agin its all about the flow of the movements and i would give it arrow key controls instead of mouse controls. Also make it 3d it will make the game better

missed the point entirely...

Like the guy before me said... its the dynamic flow that helps a person move from point a to b. If anything, stopping the action is the absolute worst thing. you could do to a flash game about parkour. Keep the rollover, drag and click interaction but make it appear a few seconds before the actual execution of the move. But whatever you do, 'dont you ever' freeze or stop any action...! Maybe in harder levels, you could give the player limited use of a special power 'slow' to help out a bit. Get some help with the coding cause I would like to see a game in first person with a randomizor built in so the actions needed to be performed changes up a bit. dodge, jump, swing and everything... ill just leave the details to you

Good idea

The biggest thrill you get from playing a Parkour game is the immersing flow. This flow is broken up by the freezing of time and music. Thus we have a good idea with poor execution. You get 6 for a good idea, appropriate (although a little heavy) music, and something that could be good.

I actually thought it was good :)

And I'm picky with games. Short and sweet. reeeemix
