i'll wait til it's free...
$19 is too much. If it's like 1 or 2 in length, complete with spelling errors, even with the extra TLC put into its design, it wouldn't be worth $5. It's still an amateur-made flash game, regardless of how much time was put into it.
-and before anyone goes off on it, no, amateur doesn't mean he isn't good at what he does. It means this is still a privately made game by someone with home software who wasn't required to go through formal motions prior to its release-
Unless it's been thoroughly tested for bugs, is backed by a major game company, and is at least an hour long (and that's if the player knows what they're doing), then yeah, I say charge money. And even then, maybe a couple of dollars.
Otherwise, it's preposterous. I can buy a used console game for Ps2 that costs $19. Hell, even the uber-lengthy, well-made downloadable games on sites like bigfish don't even cost that much. Sorry, but I'm not about to put Exmortis on even that level.
Like with what I stated before, this isn't the fruit of Sony or Capcom, years in the making (WITH teams of hundreds), ground through the rigorous formulas you're used to paying money for. It's flash software. The same thousands of people use to make thousands of games every day.
Besides, Exmortis is not the holy grail of flash games; there are many others made by people that put major time and effort into a lengthy, excellent flash project.
