Appealing to senses, but hoping for more depth.
I enjoyed the animation, as well as the auditory elements. I also thought the voice acting was clear and expressive. However, the stereotypical, "fat cats are killing the poor" shtick is rather tired (if that is all the motivation involved). I can see the series going in multiple directions, so I do look forward to the next animation, hoping for better development.

A little too cliched for my taste...
The production quality is, without a doubt, superb. But the story and characters are all very cliche. The storytelling grandfather who was part of the story he's telling, the evil corporate businessmen, the underdog looking for revenge and murdering everyone who gets in his way (even the design which I have seen all too many times on Newgrounds and elsewhere before).
Just... try to write a better script next time. You can work with what you have and still make it work well. Then again, Star Wars had a pretty ridiculous plot and characters and it's revered as one of the best movies (all-inclusive of course) of all time.
