yeeee. and i still don't have all of em. i'd appreciate anyone who can tell me the requirements for survivor, damn thing is useful.
so, strategy.
on epic mode. stock up on everything that activates randomly, like angel and aerial support. slime bunny is your savior, always keep regen going.
you'll want to get defender for matt. it basically makes him invincible.
surprisingly, mana leech is near useless for natz. easier just to use ethers or absorb a giant laser. you'll want to get elusive instead. it's much more of a lifesaver.
exploit all weaknesses. i'm talking status ailments, not elementals. blind the twin dragons.
save natz's limit for when you need it to do massive damage or just save your ass. remember that it heals status ailments.
you can remove buffs from the ghosts using judgement, but that's wasteful.
matt hardly ever needs weapons other than rune blade and blood sword. unless you're trying to poison the worm.
you may want to consider letting lance live on the endboss. he's a lot less trouble to seal than to kill. WATCH OUT FOR THE FRIDGE. it can be absolutely LETHAL.
there are only five real items- water of life, max potion, mist potion, the ethers, and the antidote. stock up on waters of life, sell everything you don't need.
levelups should go straight to defense. don't worry about attack, the random airstrikes will more than make up for that.
i'll say it again- BLIND THE DAMN DRAGONS.
you can leech MP from the mast minion on the screen by keeping him alive and using nolegs until you get an ether. natz just defends.
COUNTERATTACKS. NOW.
it's important to remember that natz should stay alive longer than matt. don't wear down your water of lifes, those are expensive.
for the minigame, don't bother with jumping. just kill a whole clump of enemies with the ranged attack (down, up) and collect the spoils.
lucky star is THE MOST POWERFUL SPELL. trust me.
as for a review, nothing i say will be new, so it can be skipped.
i'll just leave it at "excellent, go further."
