It's good but...
I must be honest, I didn't get very far to truly review this game, but I don't think I need to.
This game falls flat on it's face the moment I started playing it. Right from the very beginning it lost me and I barely played it for 2 minutes. Why?
Simply for the fact that it is way too slow. With SO LITTLE happening in SO LONG there is completely no attention grabbing at all. There might have been some awesome touches further on in the game, but because it's so slow, I could barely be motivated to get that far. And since I didn't, the surface of the game in the beginning looks like a normal basic shooting game.
At first I thought it was my quality and I was lagging but even putting on the lowest setting doesn't change the speed one bit. It's still just as slow and unnecessarily so. The excitement just dies at that speed. Completely. It doesn't matter how awesome the game looks or how much stuff you've put in it, the presentation is just as important and this is where it fails completely. If you can't even sustain a player through the first few levels, how can you expect them to get to the good stuff if there is any at the end?
And another thing, the collision size for the bullets was just pathetic. So many times I missed by a mere pixel. And since even the aiming circle moves so slow, accuracy is almost out the window. What happens then is I started to rely on brainless shooting and lots of luck.
The overall look and idea of the game may work, but the game speed is a major major flaw and that kills it completely.
