Nice for a prologue.

I´ll grade this as it is, a prologue. There is no plot anywhere to be seen, but I´ll let that go and expect the other parts fix that problem.
The animation was fairly good, no masterpiece, but a good piece of animation. The voices had no excuse, both the sync and the sound were awful. I really expect this series to improve drastically during story developement.

For Newground standards, this is quite good, good enough to be in the front page, and to go to portal history even, if you ask me. But for a serious temed series that took the bother of copyrighting itself, it's a failed attempt.
Sorry if I am being too hard on this review, but the opening got my hopes very high, and then they droped little by little on the animation runtime.

I didn't enjoyed this not even a bit, the grade is because of the effort and the animation. I'm going easy on you this time, and looking forward to this series to improve.

Yeah, I think you need to recruit a writer or someone to help you with the script and functionality of your story. Although its good animation the Anime style faces put me off it alot, huge eyes and such, make it your own and not a generic Anime, and that hair.. jesus christ; Its just blatently ripped from Kakashi, im going to send you a PM with some details of a guy who may be willing to help you with the script, hes a writer and a good friend of mine, I dont know if your willing to recruit anyone but hes a decent writer.

Well I want more... So the point of the vagabonds at the beginning was to have them all get killed? Or just suggest as much... Well... I'm sure you've got some clue what you're going to do with this, as for the rest of us absolutely no plot has developed yet. =p

Promising

I can see that you work hard at this, the voice acting was top notch and the story premise is mysterious enough to draw anyone in. Your animating skills on the other hand dont compare to the other skills you have but clearly you have a decent ammount of talent. If anything the only thing you need to improve on is consistancy, at times the animation and drawings were amazing, but just a few seconds later it plummeted, work on consistency and you will have a masterpeice.
