Absolutely Wonderfull

You must PM me when the next part comes out this game was incredible.

fun

good game, but its kinda buggy =/ i noticed halfway through boss rush mode i had this weird glitch where no matter how often i used a item it stayed with me, so i basically had infinite revival items, other than that and the battle chip glitch, everything was good

Okay then

Is there a reason items can't be used in battle? You need to put that in there. Not to mention enemy attacking needs work. I ran into a few times where I could not attack at all and the enemy kept attacking until I died. There are a great many bugs still present and kind of messed it up for me. Fix the bugs and this will be a ton better.

ChamberACR responds:

You CAN use items in battle. Please read the in-game instructions; it explains it all in great detail.

A great launching point.

I was suprised by this games presentation. It was certainly much better than I went in expecting. The battle and game system seems to be worked out well, and it is very entertaining. All that being said there were several things that needed fixing. First and foremost is that your saves don't properly save your battlechips. It does save techniques learned, but unless you unequip and reequip the chip it won't gain any more sxp. And when you reequip the chip it loses any techniques you previously learned. A fairly minor nuisance when the game is short, but a major issue if you proceed to work this into a series. The second issue that needs work is a combat bug. It only happened in fights with the groups of two grudge bots, a flame bot, and a cannon bot. When I targeted Grudge Bot D (or whichever one the bottom Grudge Bot is. C maybe?) it would register the origanal Spacebar press, but then it would change targets on its own before you hit it the second time. It only happened to me when targeting Grudge Bot D, but it did happen on two seperate occasions. The first time it "retargeted" the Flame Bot and froze the game. The second time it "retargeted" the other Grudge Bot and fired the buster instead of using a melee attack. Weird. Obviously this needs looking into. If its an isolated incident then I suppose its fine, but if its a problem with your battle system's code in general then it needs fixin. The third "bug" I managed to notice is of very little consequence and for the most part can be completly ignored, but if you want to fix it then kudos to you. In the afformentioned fight, when you first choose a target it will always show Grudge Bot A as having full health regardless of what his health actually is. If you scroll down and back up to Grudge Bot A it will display his actual health so it isn't a game breaker, and can hardly even be called an inconveniece. Bug Numero Four) Using items in battle doesn't deplete them. Of course without any techniques the only way I could find to beat what I like to call the "evil orgy boss fight" was to throw out bad mojo vials at each of the big meanies. Despite only having one vial I was able to disable all three of them due to the items not being depleted. Also Sigma was a giant pushover. And busters seem a little bit stronger than melee. Some slight balancing. But yeah fix up bugs one and two and toss a sequal my way. I suppose you should fix bug three too if you get around to it. Leave bug four. I like that bug :P. Despite the bugs the game does seem pretty badass. If you got everything working together and put it into a decent story mode you would have one badass mamajama. Also (I know it'd be alot of work, believe me but) it would be nice to have those enemies move about, other than be static on the field screen. Then you could make a line on the back of the enemies pixels and link it to a "back attack" version of the same fight (or use some other method, there are certainly plenty of ways to do it) . I think it would really enhance the gameplays feel and would help reach out to "reflex" based gamers as opposed to just RPG fans. I seem to have lost my train of thought... Oh well. Keep up the great work.

ChamberACR responds:

Wow, thank you very much for the feedback. I'll be attempting to fix all those bugs you mentioned today. I guess I had a bit of tunnel vision going on just prior to release. Again, thank you for the help.

Well done

Well thought out and planned. I really enjoyed it and it didn't feel boring as there was something new at every step. However I got 2 things for you to look into:
1. It's poisOn, not poisen. I know.. but still. Everything looks pro; why not spelling too?
2. When I deep-scanned 4 enemies at once, it froze up and no menus or attacks appeared on the screen. I have the latest flash and my CPU is just fine, so it's a bug.

"Ch. 1" in the title foreshadows a sequel, so keep at it and keep the storyline interesting.
