Reviews for "The Guardian: RPG"

Seriously?!?!?!?

Congats-a-freaking-lations you just created Zelda...but worse....You have potential....but if I wanted to play zelda.....I would....I don't know......play zelda!!! All the time you put into this could have gone into something that was your own. I'd like to see you bring something else to the table.

good game but . . .

It just felt like a repackaged Zelda game. Same Weapons, same story line, very similar graphics, same money, you even get money the same way. "Inspired by Zelda" is one thing, but this is just a blatant rip off. The game is actually quite enjoyable, but there was no originality anywhere. I was hoping for some kind of new and exciting weapon or some plot twist that wasn't done in Zelda. I would have settled for a new kind of Enemy. I just needed something new for this to be interesting. This game was fun because Zelda was fun, but this is just another Zelda Clone.
Oh, and what's the point of getting money in the game if there is nothing to spend it on? I guess I could have bought a bunch of bombs, but I already had Fifty more of those than I needed just from playing the game.

Note: to those of you who are complaining about dissapearing potions, I thought I was having the same problem until I realized there are actually two types of potions. There is a small one that restores 1/2 of a heart when picked up and a larger one that actually goes into your inventory and can be used to restore you to full health.

Where has a zelda game had link train to become the guardian? Im sorry but I dont see plot similarities.

Had potential, but wasn't very good

The first thing i noticed with this game was how much it looked like Zelda and how similar the movement and stroy line are to Zelda. When it got to the point where i was being forced to collect a sword and shield before i could go to meet the person who summoned me, i realised this game isn't just a little like Zelda, it's a straight copy. Come on, we've all played Ocarina of Time.

Other than the lack of original ideas, the gameplay wasn't great. The night and day system only slowed everyting down and wasted loads of time. As well as this, it was very glitchy. I kept getting stuck in walls, and sometimes my character would walk painfully slowly, while at other times he would zoom along really fast. Finally, the fighting was weak at best.

Th good points to this game were the effort which seemed to gointo the animation, that was very nice. Also, i liked the idea of collecting materials for the blacksmith to use to make your sword and shield.

I feel this could be a good game if you just sorted out the gameplay issues, got rid of the day and night system, and realised you aren't trying to make a new installment of Zelda.

sorry man

theres to many bugs the game works is awfull theres always the annoying sound in the background, when i open the chest the menu keeps appearing on and off with no end

Glitched

I can't even talk to my own grandma! *sniff*
