Had potential, but wasn't very good
The first thing i noticed with this game was how much it looked like Zelda and how similar the movement and stroy line are to Zelda. When it got to the point where i was being forced to collect a sword and shield before i could go to meet the person who summoned me, i realised this game isn't just a little like Zelda, it's a straight copy. Come on, we've all played Ocarina of Time.
Other than the lack of original ideas, the gameplay wasn't great. The night and day system only slowed everyting down and wasted loads of time. As well as this, it was very glitchy. I kept getting stuck in walls, and sometimes my character would walk painfully slowly, while at other times he would zoom along really fast. Finally, the fighting was weak at best.
Th good points to this game were the effort which seemed to gointo the animation, that was very nice. Also, i liked the idea of collecting materials for the blacksmith to use to make your sword and shield.
I feel this could be a good game if you just sorted out the gameplay issues, got rid of the day and night system, and realised you aren't trying to make a new installment of Zelda.
