Reviews for "Bulwark 53"

There's no challenge

The design is great, the controls are great (except for the speed), overall it looks very nice. But it is boring as all. There's no kind of flow, which I guess would be okay if there was more to do, but you just wander around and find some zombies every once in a while. I got the minigun and the game was practically over. This game needs more to do, a faster pace, and a whole lot more difficulty. There's also a lot of glitchyness. It's slow responding sometimes and i got stuck coming out of the south hq and couldn't move. I was just really pretty excited about this game and it was so disapointing.

that was awful

Try finishing the game maybe? Also, the "walkthrough" was nothing but a map and a short description of the game. Try putting effort into anything besides graphics and you'll have a great game.

Also, for anyone looking for a REAL walkthrough, here you go:
1. Go Outside
2. Go to the armory
3. You win, because the best gun in the game is in the armory, guarded by 4 of the weakest enemies in the game, and it has unlimited ammo and no reload, also, theres nothing else to do in the game.

Major Issues, Amusing Ideas

So, I'll give this game at least a 4, because it did have a good idea. I also applaud the creator for putting a bit of work into throwing some voice acting at the game.

That's where my complements end, though. While the opening voice acting is amusing, the constant one liners are pointless and irritating. Zombie movies have one liners that change slightly and are amusing throughout the movie. This game contains all of two one liners consisting of an "Is that all you can offer me?" and an evil laugh. Bleck!

The game also has a major memory leak issue. I've noticed that the memory seems to jump the more maps I've visited, which makes me wonder if the maps are unloaded or just stored in memory in the background. Also moving in and out of the same two maps will eventually cause the memory to jump quite a bit too. The game will eventually become completely unplayable with the memory leak causing it to slow down to the point you can barely move, if at all.

The game will also sometimes glitch on reloading the last clip of ammo if you reload too often. (i.e. Reloading every other kill may cause the last clip to become unusable) I've seen this happen with the Desert Eagle and the Uzi so far. The Uzi will also sometimes glitch when you get to 0 rounds and not allow you to gain any further bullets for it when you pick up an ammo pack.

Finally, there's a game stopping glitch at the end of South HQ. In my testing of the game, it seems the glitch will occur ONLY if you have the minigun when you try to leave South HQ. If you try to leave South HQ with the minigun and no key, it will zone you back into South HQ immediately. If you leave South HQ with the minigun and the key, you will get stuck and cannot aim or walk. Reloading, changing weapons, and shooting works fine.

yeah wow

like Cauterised said.... wtf is with the minigun!?!?! serious? unlimited ammo? i left to first building and found both the main hall and the South HQ and couldnt go into them, then i found the armory and got the unlimited ammo minigun, wandered around a ton more then finally found a place i could go inside i went through thre found a blue keycrad and went out side then i got stuck O_o i couldnt move and i could only shoot and then zombies cme and killed me because i couldnt move. crappiest game EVER.

DONT waste you time on this game!!!

Easy

...but funny!
