Sick

I really think the way you animated this just useing paper and a scanner is simply amazeing 10/10

Voices could have gon better

pretty good intense fight but to muh remembering parts you know it's almost like a NAruto fight

Nothing New, Nothing Too Fascinating, but Potent.

I've sat through Metal Gear Solid 4 cutscenes with open eyes yet I closed your submission not 10 seconds after the first leap into the air.

I didn't come here expecting much, though I had hoped I was simply misled by the painfully generic spike-headed kid with his eyes covered in bangs that you showed in the preview icon. I leave having seen even less than expected, and though I ache having to be so harsh when I have this impression that you really gave this some effort (you got 3 points for that alone, it proved your potential), I cannot sit through another animation borrowing so much from low-budget anime and traditional fighting effects long lost to the sands of time.

I fell ill at the first line of dialogue, by the way. I felt part of my heart disintegrate, even, knowing a year of effort didn't avail better, more original choices of words. I wasn't expecting Shakespeare, just something anime like Naruto didn't already do.

Browned-out colors do not make half-rate flashes more amazing 90% of the time. Sorry for stooping to calling it half-rate, but I'm a terrible liar and even worse with sugarcoating.

I uttered it earlier: you have SO MUCH potential. You clearly have a basic grasp of animation, just watch some more flashes around here and teach yourself what seems to make those so great. Absorb. As an artist I've been self-taught simply by scrutinizing the work of others and digesting it. I may not be the world's best, or even my town's best, but in relativity to my start as an artist there have been leaps and bounds. I just want you to take some time to take in the techniques of some the top resident animators (or even Egoraptor for the momentum in his flashes), and give this another try.

Don't let this be your last submission. You will be forgotten quickly with this as your final flash.

P.S. No katanas. No. Good god no. Not unless it's the feudal era and they're in layered plate mail.

I thought so

I thought it was great even if the animation was simple it portrayed the thought and emotion exactly. The only thing I suggest would be to add more to the story like what led up to the fight. Just give more detail. Music choice was awesome as well!
