Reviews for "Shore Siege!"

Great Defense Game!

For a "Castle Defense" type game, this is really good and creative. The names of the various enemy were rather clever, as were the explanations of the weapons.
Unlike most CD (Castle Defense) games, this one required the player use specific weapons against specific enemies, and each weapon could be upgraded individually. Most games like this have different weapons of varying strengths/weaknesses, but any weapon is usable against any enemy. Another thing that is different from most CDs is its defined endpoint. After ten rounds of repairs, your ship is "fixed" and you leave the island. Yet, the player can also decide to save their money solely for upgrades and weapons. By doing this, one can play for as long as one wants and "crank up" the score.
Overall, this is a very clever CD which offers some original gameplay and a clever storyline. Unfortunately, like so many CDs, "Shore Siege!" grows repetitive over time. Though there are new enemies periodically, the gameplay doesn't change. SS is great entertainment, and I suggest it for a laugh, but it is not substantial enough to hold the players attention for longer than an hour or two at most.

Not bad, but not good at all...

It's a kind of hard game and need a lot and a lot o dexterity... you must be very fast to survive. Yet, i liked it... i'm sure you can be better...

Pretty good game

Aside from what people have said about it being a bit easy, it's a bit simple too.
There's no real scoring system aside from the number of days but that's not a great system.
Overall though, it is a fun game and very well made, I'd like to see what else you can come up with.

sweet

It was a good game, but once is enough.

Interesting game. I like the silly enemies and weapons, but can't stand trying to drag and drop to attack. I don't think it would lose much by changing this...
