sad sad sad
this was brilliant dude. Really hit that spot where you really feel for her. I usually end up looking at background stuff and wondering how people managed to animate certain things, so it's a big thing when I think less about how she's animated and more about the girl herself. There's only been a few flash shorts that have done that so far.
The only thing that confused me is why the animation changed so much right at the end. The helicopters and clouds were animated completely differently than the rest of it. I know the colour came in when she got rescued, but the actual style of it changed as well.

Ive been looking over the reviews for this piece and i think some people are judging just for the message. So im gunna review on the animation, dont get me wrong you get a 10 for the messgae but i give you a nine for the actual work.
Your anuimation style was great, I loved the twist, the setting and it ran in a way which just suited the mood perfectly. The backround music suited the piece perfectly, i cant think of a better song, my only problem with the piece is the lip-sync. im not sure if that was the style you were goin for but it didnt seem right to me, although its not like its a stand out problem.
Really great animation, ill be recommending this for the NG history portal.
P.S - The english and chinese subtitles really worked well.

Something else
Whoa, this was something else. It felt authentic and a bit haunting. The visual decisions were very appropriate, like having it come to color until the very end. I also loved how the context was revealed and how this quickly turned from cute to dramatic.
