Reviews for "FearUnlimited Issue2 Demo"

a few things to improve on

1.)I dont know if this is a mistake, but in hellfire form, you only showed true demon colors whilst attacking, and was deprived of a should-be major speed boost.

2.)Jumping was sort of fucked, you stopped midway and could not change directions or move while jumping, the boss, whom u had to shoot at until his combo was over, was harder than he should be because i couldnt aim my jumps to be directly over him.

3.)The demon bar went down a tad too fast in my opinion, just a heads up, others may have same problem.

4.)upping the skill bar was too easy, because of the ability to do an endless combo.

5.)Enemies would go off screen. making re-entry time and place unpredictable, thus destrying the skill meter so far.

6.)the demon doors (red) had way too many enemies, which had way too much health, if you make a DMC trib. think of the style of the game, extreme amount of enemies, low health.

7.) other than this amazing game, almost on par with the first one, expecting full version! I loved the new monster designs, but they could be better drawn, the pixels were visible making the monsters look bad around the curves.

Not bad for a start

As a start, this isn't too great, but it has lots of potential.

Graphics: you really outdid yourself on the graphics there. keep it up.

Sound: glitches aside, not a bad soundtrack

Gameplay: here's where the issues lie. i know it's just a demo, but a few points really stuck out.

your character's attacks and movement is too slow when compared to the enemies or the previous games. this'll leave you mince meat in the full game.

the range attacks are relatively slow and clumsy. the machine guns should at least be automatic like the first one. the charging up part is a nice touch though.

the red orbs really dont heal you that much when compared to the original version you released a while back.

Just doesnt feel like the same fast, furious, devil-slicing prequel we all loved before.

Overall: not bad for a start, but if graphics have to be sacrificed a bit for better gameplay, it's worth it.

Needs work

There are a lot of problems with the game (these are just my opinion).
-hinu and jukata have no down mid air, so you have a 100% chance of getting hit after launching enemies up
-you can't change direction in the middle of a jump, which make it to hard to move around
-while attacking you get moved forward to far and if you don't use down/up s you will always get hit
- monks attack to fast
-you can't use guns most of the time in mid air
-the semi automatics can't be fired by holding s down, I think charge shot should be something else up+d maybe?

Anyway fixing most of those would probably get you a much better score. Good luck on finishing this =D

Dizimz responds:

lol heres why im glad your not planning it, up + D for one is the launch attack.
And semi automics arent a squeeze trigger type of gun. By definition, a semi automatic fires a bullet every time the trigger is pulled. therefore, tapping S simulates a semi auto better than holding it :)

of course the full game does have a tmp. Which is Automatic and not semi auto.
the mid air jump movement is fixed, but it wasnt an issue to me i did that on purpose i only fixed it due to popular demand lol.

and you can use guns in the air timing is crucial though. of course this isnt your fault either. This is explained in the full games tutorial which is 100% interactive. The monks can be quick i know, working on tonning em down a bit.
