Reviews for "SimianLogic's Filler"

So simple

BUT SO FUCKING FUN!

Great game!

This was a really well done game in my opinion although it could have been a bit more colourful that's neither here nor there. It'd be interesting to see different shaped rooms, more enemies and different types of bubbles as a bonus (maybe a glue ball of something like that that will hold enemies for 5 seconds or until a certain number of enemies are attached.

I look forward to seeing the sequel if such a thing is ever too be made =]

Level 33

This game is mildly challenging but lots of fun, the only thing I can think of for improving it would be to change the bouncing ball color to black so I can tell between them better.

....

I like originality. That is what this game is; original.

Has its own strategic little taste to it to, to trap those balls between the bigger balls so they get out of your way. 10/10.

A Spinoff, Not A Ripoff

This game is unigue, but I can't help but notice that it's strikingly similar to Jezzball. Jezzball was one of my favorite original computer games and it probably always will be. Just as the summary suggests, you didn't take Jezzball and make some crappy two-bit version of it. Instead, you adapted it to some of your own ideas (like the bonus things.) If I must say, this game is a little bit harder than Jezzball because the level is square and you're using round objects. In Jezzball, you made rows of squares. Another notable difference is the number of balls (which puts another level of pressure on you.) Consider expanding the soundtrack in any future versions (if there are any) and any minor bugs that just need tweaking (as I've seen some other people suggest.) It would also be neat to see a version of this with power-ups as I've always wondered what Jezzball would be like with pwr-ups. Overall, the game performs in a copacetic manner and is definitely not a ripoff. More of a spinoff with a little customization thrown in the mix. Well done.
