Challenging, but fun

At first I rated this game a four, but because after playing the first time I couldn't help coming back again and again in an attempt to finish it, I must say that I am addicted and I therefore believe it deserves a five.

Yes, of course it has it's flaws, but it's genuinely different and fun, and it's a good challenge!

(I'm currently stuck on the last campaign, but am looking forward to finishing it at some point - it feels as if there are specific configurations of guns you need to get through the campaigns. One complaint I'd have is I can't see ways to make guns like the apocalypse cannon useful, as they get destroyed so quickly! Though then again, I haven't made too much use of thesecondary turrets.)

Broke the mold

I actually enjoyed this. The difficulty bar was a little on the high side with a steep learning curve, but the ability to control turrets and pit some skill along with the tactics was a pleasant diversion. The graphics were different than the run-of-the-mill- I have always liked the feel of steampunk - and while effective in their simplicity, were not inspired. A testing field for the various guns would have been a nice way to try things out and avoid costly mistakes. New foes appeared quite quickly, in my opinion, and while this did keep a high level of interest and a fast pace, it was perhaps a bit too much too quickly. I am reminded however that the designers are learning at least as much of the players, and will not be too harsh a judge.

As with most, the game itself can use some improvement in a few aspects, but I found it far above par and am glad it has been submitted and welcomed to newgrounds. My thanks to you and I hope to see more.

still the rate at whuich your introduced to new enemies (even on easy) is a bit fast ie the big cannon thing flys on and all of a sudder ive got 4 on me all fireing very
powerful shells giving me no time for attacking
