Wow, a game of truly epic proportions...
REVIEW
This is a really great game you guys have going on here! Although I was first uncomfortable with non-automated turrets, I soon managed to warm up and enjoy this thing.
The design, for both units and backgrounds were really great in my opinion--you have managed to convince me that steampunk is very, very cool.
And the campaign, whoa, I spent several days getting through this! Thanks for the experience.
GUIDE
The heavy cannon is a cheap solution and can easily take out large cannon shells until you can get the Double Machine Gun (which both shoots the enemy and the shell). Then later on a similar weapon, the Flak Gun, is fired the same way. If you wanna invest in this skill, practice on the first challenge mission.
When stuck against hordes of enemies with tiny machine guns:
Figure out which turret they aim for the most.
Purchase a shield turret then shield that one.
General Tips:
It's better to repair and level up rather than buy two sets of turrets to exchange with in storage.
Flak is good against groups, but snipers can easily take out any small opponent.
The "refrigerators" in the balloon pirate ship are more vulnerable than the balloons.
Unless you can be creative with flak-snipers and missiles are the only way to defeat shield ships.
At more advanced levels, the "flying elephants" are most vulnerable at the exposed gears behind it.
