Pretty interesting
I've played Gaia for over 3 years.
I liked this flash a lot, and I thought it was even more badass that the guy Karona almost looks like my avatar lol.
Goodjob, but theres afew more things i'd like to see improved graphics though.

Need's ALOT of work
No not gonna harp on you, scream and fuss about anything but there are some things that need to be worked on, badly.
1: Being the animation of the body, these were awful, horribly awful, they just looked mechanical and like no effort was put into them, and at times they were so bad that I couldn't help but to laugh, you need to learn to edit sprites before editing them into a movie, otherwise it looks plain and out of place.
2: The kids, oh snap, you can't just shrink sprites and put a normal head on them, (well... technically you can...) because thy end up looking like disfigured midgits. Which just added to the hilarity of it all.
3: Emotions. You're character lacked them, you can see that they are happy or imply it from what they say but other then that, you didn't even bother changing there faces to fit the mood of the scene. Always just a blank stare into the distance, even when the main characters mom died he didn't shed a tear, or anything, just stayed with his dinner plate eyes.
4: Special Effects: For these I won't bash you to hard on them but for the fire on the house, try to make it less pixelated, and don't make the ground randomly burning 10 seconds later. The biggest irk with special effects was your Kung Fu Hustle scene, the blood just spun out of him and stuck, work on your ripple effects some.
5: Plot, this was actually good and it seems like the start of something great, but one thing bothered me, when the kids (ryu) house is burning, no one in the neighboring houses cared to check it out, hell everyone apparently ignored the screaming child as well, might wanna do the cliche thing and have em slaughter the village that way they have a excuse to run away with a screaming child, or something, up to you really ^^;
6: Music Loops, the music you used was great, I loved it, but it was way to short of a clip and it would often replay through it after a minute or so, it's most obvious when the house is burning and the song starts up. By the time he's at his mom it's already started playing through once more. Work on getting longer clips.
In short, this stat is a bit on the "meh" side as things do need improvement, but if you listen (or at least consider) what I mentioned above I can see this doing really well. Hope this helped some! (and I loved the DCK cameo :B)
