"To be continued"
Oh, that's oh-so evil. To be continued? :(
That said, one thing bugs me; World War I started on June the 28th, after the Archduke of Austro-Hungary got shot.
June the 28th, of 1914, that is. Not 1904. Furthermore, the Wright brothers had only first flown the world's first poweed aircraft less than a year from the date given in the game; December 17, 1903. To take the leap from the first flight of the Wright Brothers to the attempted invention of a jet-powered aircraft is an insane leap of faith, since the first conception of jet propulsion was in 1910. It was such an abysmally inefficient engine (The air compressor was a fan driven by a traditional piston gas engine) that the same design flew faster with a simple propellor than it did with a jet.
The gas turbine (a requisite for a true jet) wasen't developed until the 1930s, far, far after the WWI backdrop, and very far and away beyond the 1904 date given.
The game is great, it's just that it would be so much better if the history actually lined up. Even if you changed it to make it read 1914 (And changed the cause of war shown in the newspaper spinning-intro to match up with the real cause of war), it would still be stunning, and it would be just as fantastic if the plans in the test room were changed to those of a large, four-engined propellor-driven aircraft of enclosed design. (An enclosed, pressurized, high-flying aircraft would still be an incredible example of the stereotypical "Germans being ahead of everyone else in technology" schtick, set in a WWI backdrop.)
