sorry to break it to you, only about the 10% of newgrounds is actually a master of the art, lol, maybe 50% of us are pretty good(youd fall here).
and than you have garbage crap spammers units that go around crapping garbage videos like the uzi unit, and others of the type that or just hidious, i bett if they tried they couldnt make a good flash.
very good job though, i really liked it.

considering you say that you're new to flash, this is fantastic. as a user who has been judging flash on this site for several years, i can honestly say that this submission is better than most that i have seen come through the portal. the graphics and animation were very nicely done, earned you big points in my books. this will definitely make it through te portal, and will be humbled if it doesn't win an award of some kind. really, really well done. keep using flash.

you can deffantely animate with the best, and i agree, you'll prob get a award of some kind, i like the fact that you old folklore as a story. the person who was narateing had a rythem to his voice that added to the story. the ogre chaseing Nolboo got a score for violence. the buttons that let you go back and forth in the story was nice and the comment about the teaspoon was rather funny. i hope to see more soon.

in short... amazing

you sir have greatly underestimated yourself, this flash has been one of the top ive seen today, ususally id go on about how to improve this flash, but since its so good, im just going to say what you did right :)

animation: Beautifully colored and animated characters and backgrounds, you must have some great drawings on deviant.

sound: whoever did the voiceing spoke clearly and well, and i loved the little song playing in the background

Technique: the skip buttons and subtittles were a very nice touch, i can see you must have worked hard on this.

I really don't see any reason why this wouldent make front page, or at the very least win daily first or second.

Overall this is flash was just pure awesome, and i can't wait to see what you do next if you continue making and submiting flash's here on newgrounds..

If you've not been using flash for very long and your already quite good...then more practice can only mean good things.

A good plotline, kept me interested.

Sound was clear and crisp.

A worthy 8.
