It reminded me of guitar hero, except there music was better, but still it was pretty good. Maybe you could add in click on the notes and add hold notes.
Cool concept, terrible music
I liked the idea of the game, and really, you did a good job of pulling it off. While you have little margin for error -- as in, the "frets" were pretty freakin' small -- it was still pretty fun.
HOWEVER, I didn't bother playing past The Bar. The songs are HORRIBLE sounding. The game itself is a lot of fun to play, but I can't stand listening to those songs. The quality of the songs are bad enough, sounding like they're MIDI synth, but on top of that, the songs are just plain bad. They donj't seem to follow any structure or melodies... just... blech.
Try again, this time with some borrowed music from the Audio Portal's top metal artists.

The only crappy part was that I had to blink haha, that was my downfall! Great job, keep up the sweet ass work!!!
